Abby Pet Hospital - Vet Tech Kissing Dog

About Us

Our History and Mission

Abby Pet Hospital was first established as a low-cost spay and neuter hospital by Dr. Francis Testoni. The location on Abby Street was ideally suited to the expanding Fresno community. His early mission was to provide lower prices for common veterinary procedures in a professional environment. The practice expanded its surgical services with the addition of Dr. Richard Holm in 1989. Dr. Holm became the sole owner of Abby Pet Hospital in 2004. We have grown much larger since then and moved to our current state of the art location in 2009 where we now have 10 doctors to provide the loving care Fresno knows us for. And we continue to grow; with the addition of reptile and small mammal medicine and surgery.

We are dedicated to being available to our clients and patients especially in emergency and urgent situations. We are a compassionate team that will strive to be flexible and creative regardless of economic challenges in order to better the health of each and every patient. We are driven by witnessing the amazing Human Animal Bond every day, and try to make every experience a great one for our clients and their furry family members.
