Sarah Bangtson grew up locally in Visalia. She received a Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience from University of California at San Diego. Then attended veterinary school at Iowa State University graduating in 2005. During veterinary school she took a special interest in exotic medicine taking additional courses and had a hands on preceptorship at a large all exotic hospital in Chicago. Her special interests include feline, small mammal, and reptile medicine. Dr. Bangtson lives with her husband, her 2 kids. And their 3 cats, 2 guinea pigs, and 1 dog. When not in the hospital she enjoys camping, being crafty, and photography.
